Bob Strupat is a former journalist, freelance writer, part-time college writing instructor, and a communications and marketing consultant.

Bob took up photography in 2004 after being diagnosed with colon cancer and undergoing a series of operations and other treatments. He wrote about his condition and his first few operations in an article for the Toronto Star. Click on "Hello, I'm in pain here" to download the article as a PDF file.

Bob lives in Toronto, Ontario and maintains a home in Vero Beach, Florida. He has won awards in a variety of juried competitions; and his photos have appeared in and won awards in art gallery and museum exhibitions.
